Sneak Peek- Make Up For Ever HD Elixir

Ladies and Gentleman, I would like to introduce you all to the newest addition to the Make Up For Ever HD Line. Meet HD Elixir
Everyone knows that makeup just does not sit well on dry skin. It tends to flake up and enhance the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. HD cameras (and the human eye in broad daylight) are very unforgiving, and with that in mind the HD elixir was born. Designed to be a quick fix pre makeup application treatment, HD elixir instantly plumps and hydrates dull tired skin while preparing your face's canvas for foundation and color. It is unique in that it is a hybrid, part skincare and part make up.

With tons of good for you ingredients including glycerin (for moisture), dermican (for firmness), and argatensyl (for tightening); this wonder syrum is clinically proven to boost hydration by a whipping 250% after 2 hours of wear! The benefits go on and on.
This comes in a push button dropper bottle, and glides onto the skin. It isn't sticky, it isn't oily, and it does not feel heavy at all. It is actually very soothing and glides on smoothly, quickly absorbing into the skin.
Dany's personal tip? Mix the HD elixir with your foundation for a smoother, more flawless application. Your dry, tired skin will be sure to thank you!

Launching on June 12th and available exclusively on Sephora.com; this HD elixir is being released just in time for the national transition to HD television. Mark your calendars folks, this is one that isn't to be missed!

Is this anything like the new Lancome genifique Thing. ik there for diff things but r they close in texture and use

Krasey Beauty said...

Rob, I have never actually used Genifique.

While the concepts are similar, to me the main difference is that the Lancome is meant to be used as an antiaging treatment whereas the Make Up For Ever is meant to be used as a moisturizing primer

Focus with Make Up For Ever is moisture while the focus with Lancome is anti-aging.

I hope this helps!

Is HD Elixir good for oily skin? What do u think about HD foundation for oily skin? I use Mat Velvet foundation.

Sandra, I do not think this would be as good for oily skin. The elixir is mostly for moisture and hydration.

I think HD would be good for oily skin in terms of staying power, just keep in mind that you won't get the same matte finish that you have with Mat Velvet.
