What is a week on Krasey Beauty without at least some mention on this beauty bunnie's favorite cosmetics brand?
Answer: A bad week, indeed. Pretty nonexistent actually.
Today's post will be covering an item I haven't talked too much about yet, the Make Up For Ever Flash Color Pots.
Make Up For Ever Flash Colors are opaque, pigmented creams designed to be multipurpose. They are very creamy, and full of rich color that can be used on eyes, lips, face, and body. My favorite applications of these include lips, cheek color, and of course eyeshadow base. One thing to keep in mind when using these is that they are very very creamy, and will crease on the eye if not set with a powder. A little bit goes a long way with these, so they will virtually last forever.
In commemoration of the 25 year anniversary of Make Up For Ever, the iconic brand has released a limited edition, flash color palette housing 12 of Dany's personal favorite shades. The palette is designed to take you across a huge number of looks, no matter what ideas you are trying to bring to life. I personally think the palette is a must have for any fan of Make Up For Ever. I know I have been fiending to get my hands on one.
While I have not had the chance to schlep on down to the store and pick one up, I do have a couple of the shades housed within the palette, 0 (turquoise) and 3 (silver) to show you all.
It is so hard to capture how utterly gorgeous these are when swatched, but I definitely did try:
Make Up For Ever flash colors are available in individual pots, and in the commemorative 25 year anniversary palette. Deliciously pigmented, and amazingly versatile, these are a must-have for every traincase. Get yours at your nearest Sephora, or online here
