The Body Deli Brings the Bath Noms

Dry, flaky, lizard skin has met its match, and in a most delicious way.

Slays Alligator Skin

If there is anything that I have learned this winter, it is that there is no better way to combat bumpy, flaky skin than with a good old fashioned salt scrub. I will venture to say that not all salt scrubs are created equal, but I have found one that I can truly be excited about in the Body Deli's limited edition Dark Chocolate Truffle Botanical Butter Scrub.

Not your average tub of NaCl (that's salt in geek speak), this salt scrub is made with extra fine dead sea salts, certified organic raw cacao beans, and organic cocoa butter. Designed to slough off those dead layers of epidermis, using this mix on your wet skin will yield some seriously smooth skin. Unlike some other scrubs out there, this one is enriched with essential oils that moisturize even as they give off the decadent scent of molten chocolate.

Let's discuss the smell for just one moment. Decadent, delicious, and so tempting that I find myself opening the jar just to get a whiff of chocolaty goodness. The aroma of this in a hot shower is like no other, tempting those who have it to use it daily. While this delicious mix does smell divine, you shouldn't exfoliate your body more than 2-3 times a week. Too much of a good thing instantly becomes a bad thing, so try not to overdo it. Opening the jar just to take a whiff however, do that to your heart's content. I do it all the time, and the funny thing is that I don't even eat chocolate.

Dark Chocolate Truffle Botanical Butter Scrub is available on the Body Deli website, all through the month of February.
