When modern elegance, amazing brands, great minds and fabulous personalities come together, the result is the Luxe Laboratory, hosted by style superstar
Robert Verdi. With everything the fashionably frazzled could ever want or need, the Luxe Lab was an Urban oasis to editors and celebrities alike.
**Tres Chic, no?
For those of you who don't know him (hello, where have you been?!), Robert is the ab fab personality behind the hilarious Robert Verdi show on Logo TV. He is a man who wears many hats (or shades), and boasts an impressive resume that includes stylist to the stars, party planner, entrepreneur, inventor, and captain of good taste. Entering his world is like immersing yourself in a fantasy land full of the awesome, and speaking with Robert is like chatting with your in-the-know gay best friend, only a thousand times more amazing. Having taken a trip through the Luxe Lab, I found myself euphoric. Without it, I just might have started convulsing in what would have been a mid-fashion week meltdown.
The Beauty Room
**Primping with Davide and Phyto. The man gave me a legendary blowout.
With everything a beauty loving gal needs to get pampered and photo op ready, the beauty room was full of glamorous lifestyle essentials. From manicures with pretty polishes from Ginger and Liz, makeup makeovers with Jouer Cosmetics, and hair overhauls with hair stylist to the stars Davide Torchio and Phyto, you couldn't help but leave the room looking a thousand times more fabulous.
Hello gorgeous hair
**Snack addiction, thy name is Popcorn Indiana
Post beauty makeover, this gal still found herself famished and frazzled. It was the healthy treats from
Blue Print Cleanse, and the delicious treats from
Popcorn Indiana that revived me, while chic refreshments from
Coca Cola and
Smart Water made sure I didn't succumb to the infamous spells of fashion week dehydration. Rounding out the treats trifecta, deliciously sexy cocktails were being mixed using
Absolut Acai, a tasty edition to the Absolute family.
**To you, its vodka. To this Russian, it's a way of life. Acai makes it even better.
Recharged, and ready to take on the world, I toured the rest of the space to learn more about the next big things in fashion and furnishings. With a
Rock and Republic denim bar, a customizable
Vans station, a table full of delicious shades by
Carrera, and shapewear (you know you wear them) by
ShatoBu, Robert thought of everything a girl needs to strut the streets feeling like the hottest celebrity.
Keeping it sophisticated,
Modern Dose provided the hotter than hot decor, while
Jen Bekman Projects kept the room full of beautiful artwork. With so much chic, who wouldn't want to lose themselves in the space?
**Catching up with the gals of Second City Style
**Hello?! That is THE Robert Verdi. Working it for the cameras.
My time in the Luxe Laboratory was like an escape to a posh paradise during an insane (albeit exciting) week. Robert Verdi is my newest hero, and I absolutely bow to the awesomeness of both him and his team members. To catch your very own glimpse into the most important things in life, be sure to watch his new reality show on
Logo.

Silhouette, oh how I would love to curl up on one of those couches and wake up to all of that goodness every single day. :)
