Paint Your Nails Red with Jessica Nails Red Alert

Not to ignore our digits as we beckon the boys to come hither, I bring you a nail polish kit made especially for the holiday of love. Jessica Nails brings three (3!) different shades of red to strike your fancy with the Red Alert Set. Whether you are feeling vampy, bold, or just plain flirty, there is a red in this kit that will happily oblige the mood.

Within the kit, you get three mini shades of polish, in different finishes and with three very different shades of red. To provide the foundation, Reward basecoat is included, and for the big finish Brilliance high shine topcoat is also included. 

 

Shall We Dance is a high-shine, sparkling ruby shimmer with an incredibly high shine factor.

 

Grecian Touch is a black base with intense red sparkle. Depending on the way the light hits this, it could go either red or black, which makes this the vamp shade of the bunch.

 

Royal Red is a cool red creme that appears almost jelly-like on the fingers. This color reminds me of the Hollywood screen sirens of old.

 

All three shades apply full and opaque with just two coats. The colors glide onto the nail easily, and once on last for at least 5-6 days on me. Bonus is that they look amazing mattified as well. 

 

I am thoroughly impressed with my first go at Jessica Nails. This kit was the perfect thing in terms of an introduction to the brand, and has me excited to try more colors.
