De-Slick Thyself- Boscia Green Tea Blotting Linens

With the warmer months fast approaching we are shedding our coats, our gloomy dispositions, and our dry, flaking skin. I am all about the warm sunshine, that is fact. What I am not all about is a different kind of shine- an excessive one that has the tendency to emanate from the pores of my face as my skin's oil glands produce the greasies in excess. Now I know that I am not alone in my tendency to run shiny during the warmer season.
Renee, I love you but the oily look is exactly what we aren't going for.

Not one to take less than ideal skin conditions lightly, I have discovered an effective little tool to combat midday shine. Say hello to the Boscia Green Tea Blotting Linens.

Green Tea Blotting Linens are made especially for touch-ups during those times when  you need to rid  yourself of excess shine. Designed to be pressed into the skin to soak up excess oils, these linens do so beautifully without disturbing the makeup I made an effort to put on.

The blotting linens feel like thin strips of silken paper, and turn clear in the places where it has absorbed oils. These particular blotting linens boast the added benefit of being infused with antioxidants circa green tea- a natural skin soother and protectant.

A bit gross, but here is one of the towelettes at work. Soaking up some nastiness is all in a days work for these thin linens.

For an oil absorbing punch when you need it most, the Boscia linens are an optimal choice. Snag some for your very own at your local Sephora.

Lovely post!!! It's easier carrying around sheets than a powder and brush!!

Blotting sheets are such an improvement over the old, cakey sheets of rice powdered paper! I don't know if the package design of the Boscia sheets allow it, but for many brands, you can actually slip a pair of scissors down into the pack, under the sheets, and cut them in half (width wise). This is a great tip for those that are just oily enough to need some blotting, but find themselves wasting half of the sheet (cause it's not like you're gonna save it!)
