Illamasqua Body Electrics Sneak Peek!

Ladies and gents, yesterday I had the opportunity to attend a very special event with one of my absolute favorite cosmetic brands- Illamasqua. The event was all about Body Electrics, the much anticipated summer collection launching this Friday online, and coming very soon to our own Sephora shops.

These photos were taken on my blackberry, so please be kind. I promise to have better photos for all of you soon!

In this picture we have the brand new body kabuki brush, which feels softer than a baby kitten and also boasts antimicrobial properties. We also have Thalia powdered metal, Static Pure Pigment, and the liquid metals.

New for summer, this pic shows the new liquid metal quad which contains the 3 existing shades with the addition of Surge- a green tinged taupe. Gleam cream (black foundation tubes) is a new illuminating and moisturizing lotion that glows opalescent.

And not to be neglected, the deliciously creamy pastel nail varnishes will also be gracing Sephora shelves very very soon.

Who else is excited for Illamasqua summer?! Be sure to check it all out when it launches this Friday, on Illamasqua.com

Did you try the body oils and see that bright lilac polish? Ja'naime or something like it's called.

Love the nail polishes! My local sephora carries this line but they never have any of the new launches in, only perm stuff.

Those nail polishes look so beautiful! :-)

Yinka, we didn't have the oils at the event, since they aren't launching in Sephora. Same with the polish, since that won't launch in Sephora till fall.

PrettyasPeaches, it doesn't launch in Sephora until May. ;)

The liquid metal quad looks like it'd be awesome to use for eyeshadow bases :)

And Illamasqua always have the best and most creative promo photos!

Silhouette, the liquid metals make an awesome base or topcoat. They are a bit on the creamy side though, so I would recommend a primer.

And I agree, they DO have the best photos. Always so visually stunning!
