Welcoming Spring with Lippmann Collection

In case I don't have you all thoroughly confused as to what season it really is, it just so happens to be Spring. Springtime is for slowly increasing days, the return of frozen yogurt, and of course for flower buds bursting forth with colorful blooms to the delight of all. Capturing the soft essence of the spring season, Lippmann Collection's spring color lineup is enough to send any lover of soft, sheer pastels into outer space. Not to leave lovers of opacity in the dark, a new putty shade has also popped up much to my delight.

Let's not beat around the proverbial spring bush. With spring well underway, let's get on to the colors!

I'm Not Innocent

Britney may not have been that innocent, but this shade by Lippmann most definitely is. A creamy soft peach, this shade reminds me of delicate peach pastries. Three coats did the trick for sheer opacity, as seen in the photos below.

Waking Up In Vegas

Waking Up In Vegas is the odd shade of the bunch, and surprisingly one of my favorites. Greige and putty shades are very much still in, and this shade is exactly that- a cool gray putty. Waking Up In Vegas feels like that perfect transitional shade to take you into spring in that it is fairly strong, but not overpowering. The most pigmented shade of the bunch, two coats was enough to get the opacity in these photos.

Shape of my Heart

The Backstreet Boys sought to show us all the shape of their hearts, and now Lippmann Collection in conjunction with Shape Magazine want to do the very same thing. I love beauty with a good cause behing it, and proceeds from each bottle go towards helping in the fight against breast cancer. A soft creamy pastel pink, Shape of My Heart is the color of a young girl's blush when you catch her hand in the cookie jar. Shape of My Heart to me is youthful innocence bottled. Below is three coats.

The spring lineup from Lippmann Collection is all elegance and sophistication with soft whispers of color that perfectly capture the essence of springtime in bloom.
