Faux Glow, The Drugstore Way with Physicians Formula

Now that summer is in full swing, it is safe to say that I am looking to abandon those dreadful adjectives that have become a typical part of my self-descriptive vernacular. When it comes to describing my complexion, pale, pasty, and porcelain are the buzzwords to beat. Determined to reverse my unsavory pallor, I have decided to investigate the Physician’s Formula bronzer situation. New for the summer are some charming options that both delight with their amazing performance, and enchant with their marvelous packaging.

Mineral Glow Pearl is a lovely little compact that holds beads of pressed powdery goodness. A swipe across the bumpy surface yields a softl pigmented sheen, which looks gorgeous on the high planes of the face. True to the genius of Physician’s Formula packaging, a flip of the powder compartment yields a handy little face brush for application.

Bronze Booster is a clever little luminescent bronzer in what might possibly be the most convenient packaging ever. Simply twist to reveal the powder, which is fine, shimmering, and pigmented perfectly, effectively bronzing without leaving you looking orange. Push down on the handle and you have a dense kabuki with which to apply the golden stuff. Word to the wise though, the ultra-dense brush packs one heck of a powder load. Swipe lightly and layer for the most lovely glow.
