Stars In Your Eyes

Part 2 of the Make Up For Ever Series, the Star Powders

One of the line's most versatile products, Star Powders are shimmering, loose pigments meant to be used on the eyes and face. Corn-silk fine, these are a dream to apply and blend.

Think MAC pigments without any chunkiness. Just superfine, pigmented, shimmering color

Below in the swatches are most of the colors I own, by number with an sp after the number.

Questions about any specific colors? Comment box is open ;)

What is the bottom golden one?
Is this a flash color?
Or are they all star powders?

The bottom golden one is a flash color. I will provide a brief review on that most likely on Friday ;)

They are going to carry it soon here

They have a whole palette of them available here for around $90 USD. Hard to say if it is worth it though because unfortunately these will crease if you don't set them :-/

Hey Adina! So, I am really excited for all this MUFE love lately! I just ordered the MUFE HD, can't wait til it comes! I'm contemplating the powder also- is it a must-have in your opinion? I'm worried about the silica thing that has been going around on the internets. :( Also, I think I'm gonna snag #92. What do you think? I need some enabling :)

First of all...Happy One Month Anniversary on Blogspot! :D I don't think it's my anniversary yet. I don't remember. lol! I need to check :D Aaaand MUFE! <3333 I actually didn't used to like it because the staining got on my nerves big time. But not all the colors stain so I love it again. Just not the bright pink. I'm kinda OCD like that. Haha! Star Powders...I want some! SP 957...and 171!

Abby! You have so come to the right place for some mufe enabling as I have to be one of their biggest fans (along with Helene, haha!)

No question about it, you absolutely NEED number 92 as it is the most amazing purple matte eyeshadow in the whole wide world. There is definitely a reason for the 92 love. I am actually featuring eyeshadows tomorrow ;)

In regards to the silica powder, it isn't essential. I have it, and all it really does is diffuse light a bit. HTH!

Jacqueline, thank you so much doll!

Embrace the MUFE love ;)

Crap I totally skipped #92 and bought the silica powder instead! LOL. Oh well. I just didn't want 92 to sit in my drawer b/c I doubt I'd use it that much. At the same time though, it is really amazing. I need a free shipping code from Sephora stat! lol. Well thanks anyways for your recs! I love your blog, it is now on my daily list of sites to check. :)

Did you know sephora has a 15% off right now?

That 171 shadow looks like Mac's Bitter e/s.
In the second picture what's the FC + 307? And what's that purple color beneath it?
So many questions...

Krasey Beauty said...

171 is actually a bit brighter than bitter. You will see it in my swatches tomorrow! FC + 307 is the gold flash color with diamond shadow 307 on top.

Haha, ask away!
