Lets get started!!
1. I only have one sibling, a sister that is 16 years older than I am. I also have 2 nephews, ages 17 and 9. The 17 year old is more a little brother to me than a nephew.
2. At the ripe old age of 2, an accident involving couch jumping had me landing face first into a jagged coffee table. My nose was completely split open and you can still see the stitches on the tip of my nose.
3. Darren Hayes is my music idol. I absolutely adore him as a person, and as a musician! I met him twice, and even sat on stage during one of his shows in NYC. For those of you who don't know who he is, he was the lead singer of Savage Garden. My favorite song by him is Insatiable.
4. I am incredibly picky and weight conscious, and can only eat certain foods. I don't consume fried foods, olive oil, butters, most meats, pasta, potatoes, and the list goes on. I eat fat free cream cheese at least once a day, and put it on some pretty unusual things (such as cheeseless grilled veggie "pizza").
5. I was a dancer for 13 years, competing for 9 of those years. I have done tap, jazz, ballet, pointe, lyrical, acrobatics, and modern. I have also dabbled a bit in ballroom and hip hop. Deciding to go pre med in college, I had to give up the dance. I miss it daily.
6. Besides loving everything in the beauty industry I am also a foodie, a lover of fashion, and a very avid reader. Apparently I am a lover of obscure films too, as my favorite movie was a Hallmark miniseries called The Tenth Kingdom.
7. I enjoy being the life of a party, and am very social and outgoing... The only problem is getting me out of the house. Its the process of getting ready that deters me. You know- the getting dolled up part (which is completely necessary).
8. I started college as a pre-med student, going through all of the prereqs for the first three years. At the end of junior year I became a psychology major. Now, I work in business and more than anything else want to work in public relations and marketing in the beauty industry. I know now, that is my true calling. Now I just have to get there!
9. I am a first generation American, born and raised in NYC. My parents are from Odessa, Ukraine, and my sister was even born there. I have lived in the same apartment all my life, minus the four years I spent dorming in college. Oh, and the walls and carpetting in my room have been peachy pink all my life.
10. Places I have been to include Switzerland, Mexico, The Dominican Republic, Canada, and Jamaica. Someday I hope to travel the world, with London (and Illamasqua HQ) being the first stop on the list of places I need to visit.

Anonymous, I can't consume olive oil because my body doesn't digest it properly. Its sort of an oil intolerance in general.
Yay, another Darren Hayes fan! I saw him in concert when he came to Belfast a few years back, and he was awesome - he's even better live! Insatiable is my favourite song of his too! :)
