China Glaze Khrome Collection- Review and Swatches

Like liquid metal for your digits, these China Glaze polishes would have any metallic lover doing a double-take, and then reaching for their credit cards.

This being my first foray into the world of China Glaze, I am pleased to report that I am not at all disappointed. These polishes are like no other metallic that I have seen thus far, gleaming like molten metal in a beautiful array of colors. For application, I found these polishes to be pleasantly thin, smooth, and surprisingly fast drying. My only sticky point is that you can see the brush strokes on some of the colors if you aren't careful. Three coats was what worked best for me.

The colors are very pretty, but I want you to see how they shine for yourself. Kids, its swatch time!

Millennium- Like tin foil for the nails. A stunning silver.

Metallic Muse- Cool, soft,  metallic teal green/blue

Robotica- Soft, cool, rosy brown

2030- Liquid gold, without any of the garishness golds can sometimes have. This is the polish I had the most issues with in terms of visible brush strokes.

Sci-Fi- cool, lavender brown.

Hi-Tek- Molten copper, without that orangey tinge that you would typically find in copper polishes

One things for sure, and that is I have never seen metallic polishes like these before. Living up to their name, these polishes are hotter than molten metal, though they won't burn. Brush stroke issues aside, These lacquers are a must-have for metal lovers. Khrome, along with the rest of the China Glaze polishes are available in store, at your local Ulta or Sally Beauty Supply.

*The polishes mentioned and swatched in this post were sent by the brand for post consideration.

adina these are gorg! those brush strokes are nothing compared to old metallics which are terribly streaky at best!

Yummy, I am glad you agree with me on that one! I don't have experience with the old metallics, but I am definitely loving these! :)
