Bulky Lipgloss Begone, Hourglass Prodigy

A reoccurring scenario:

You are going to a party, and looking mighty fine if you do say so yourself. You are finished getting dressed and primped, and its time to accessorize. You pick an adorable bag to match your ensemble, and proceed to fill it with the essentials. Camera, keys, wallet, and before you know it your cute little bag is stuffed to maximum capacity. Where to put the lipgloss?! It won't fit in your bag unless that bag suddenly sprouts a black hole, so you pawn it off on your unsuspecting significant other. When he starts buying pants without pockets (because he will, once he catches on), you put it in your back pocket and hope nobody notices the bulge.

More often than not, that girl with the teeny, tiny, overstuffed bag just so happens to be me. Many a time, I have tried to shove my lipgloss into any crevice I could find to no avail. I would turn to my sweet boyfriend who would begrudgingly hold onto my things for me, until he caught onto my game and started stuffing his pockets with his own junk. Woe was me on the evenings I had to walk around with dark denim skinnies and a bulging tube resting on my derriere. No more with Hourglass Cosmetics Prodigy lipgloss.

Don't you just love it when beauty products solve problems? Prodigy lipgloss is eliminating backpocket/purse bulk, one lipgloss at a time. Housed in a sleek, flattened squeeze tube, this gloss fits perfectly in my back pocket and between my fingers during application. So tiny, It is quite literally a now you see it, now you don't kind of deal.

As with every other Hourglass gloss I have tried, the formula is pigmented, shining, shimmering, splendid without being too over the top. Super emollient with minimal tackiness, Prodigy glides on and keeps my lips hydrated with a kiss of sparkling color for hours. Pulse, which is the shade you see above, is a bright and sparkling strawberry pink with soft coral notes. Perfect over coral and pink lipsticks, this gloss wears amazingly opaque on its own too.

Swatched

Prodigy is lip tested, boyfriend and back pocket approved. The ingenious packaging lures you in, while the amazing gloss and formula keeps you coming back for more. You can find it at Sephora, and on the Hourglass website.

Amina, glad you can relate. Nothing worse than an overstuffed bag, and no lipgloss in site! Definitely check the gloss out when you can. ;)
