Becca Cosmetics

Of beauty obsessions, and the newest makeup line that is thoroughly rocking my world.

A cosmetic-brand wonder from down under, Becca Cosmetics is synonymous with glowing, radiant, flawless faces. In case I haven’t mentioned it yet, I have made it my life’s goal to achieve a glowing, radiant, flawless face. Do you see where I am going with this?

Becca is a recent addition to my makeup vernacular, and a line that I am promptly kicking myself in the behind (not easy to do, trust me) for not partaking in sooner. The whole product line is dedicated to achieving that fresh-faced, lit-from-within kind of flawlessness that Australian surfer babes seem to have in abundance. Clearly, I am on board with that.

Enough of my yammering, let’s get into the products.

Compact Concealer in Praline, a duo designed to give you both full and medium coverage with one product. Simply tap the concealers into the skin, and imperfections rapidly disappear.

Luminous Skin Colour

Tinted moisturizer is the product that gives my face LIFE in the summertime. It has the ability to provide a hint of coverage, mask imperfections, protect against harsh environmental conditions, and provide the skin with all of the skin-loving ingredients it craves. What makes the Becca LSC (Luminous Skin Colour) with SPF 20+ so special is not only the fact that it protects and nourishes the face, but also that it smooths and provides a subtle sheen which translates to healthy, dewy, stop you dead in your tracks kind of glow. I do not recommend this for those with oily skin, as this product does contain mineral oil which is a big no-no for oily gals. If you are normal/dry like I am, these are pure perfection. The amazing affects lasts all day, even when the humidity climbs higher than Lady Gaga’s hemlines.

Shimmering Skin Perfector is the jelly to Luminous Skin Colour’s peanut butter. When worn, SSP provides the most gorgeous highlight that shies away from glitterbombs and instead focuses on a shimmering, soft-focus sheen. The opalescence of Rose Quartz is absolutely amazing on my pale, porcelain complexion. Oh, and did I mention that this also has an SPF of 20+? More sun protection is completely OK in my book.

Last, but most certainly not least, Beach Tint is a product that needs very little in terms of an introduction. Already a cult-favorite of diehard beauty junkies, this multi-purpose teeny tube o’gel provides the perfect kiss of color for eyes, lips, and cheeks. Incredibly pigmented, just a dab blends into the skin flawlessly, making it look like the color is a part of you. I love it so much that I have two!

Swatched: LSC in Sand, SSP in Rose Quartz

SSP, Beach Tint in Grapefruit

Blended products, LSC, SSP

On my face, Luminous Skin Color in Sand

Luminous Skin Colour + Shimmering Skin Perfector in Rose Quartz

In sum dear readers, words cannot convey the depth of my love for these new additions to my makeup arsenal. For flawless, natural, beach beauty, nothing else delivers like these products do. This is the first time you are seeing Becca here on Krasey Beauty, but mark my words that it will not be the last. You can find the full lineup on BeccaCosmetics.com

I've been eyeing up the Shimmering Skin Perfector in Pearl, but I'm really pale so do you think that the Rose Quartz would be better? Becca's a brand I'd really love to get into, but there are no counters anywhere near me so I'd have to go online - not seeing in the flesh can be dangerous sometimes!x

Stellie, I would recommend both Rose Quartz and Opal for paler complexions like ours. Let me know what you end up picking up though!

I haven't tried anything from their foundation/powder range, but the random bits I 've tried are all musts - you need to try the Sheer Lip Tints if you haven't already!

Btw that beach tint is one of THE best summer products, works so well on both cheeks and lips, I love it!!!
