Too Faced Lockdown Ultimate Creaseless Cream Shadow

Both Too Faced Shadow Insurance and Urban Decay Primer Potion have been compared countless times. Both are colorless bases that keep shadow in place all day long. Both have droves of devotees.

I recently reviewed Urban Decay's new Sin Primer Potion, a shimmering taupe version of Urban Decay Primer Potion. For a refresher click here

Now, allow me to introduce you to Too-Faced's latest and greatest, Lockdown Ultimate Creaseless Cream Shadow.
According to the Sephora website,

Too Faced LOCKDOWN Ultimate Creaseless Cream Eye Shadow combines deep metallic pigments with Shadow Insurance's anti-crease base to create a staying power that is unmatched. This beautiful, long-wearing formula is easy to apply and your peepers are protected from creasing, fading, and smudging.

Colors available are:
Bedroom Eyes- Taupe
Bondage- Light Champagne
Dramarama- Chocolate Brown
I'm Guilty- Teal blue
Jailbait- Pale Pink
Prisoner of Love- Light petal pink

This product has a short but sweet color list, and really fun names, I loved both the colors offered and the finishes on these once applied. These things stay and stay, sans creasing and sans fading. The colors are gorgeous and vibrant with a hint of sparkle. Not all all chunky, and not too glittery either.
The only downside to these are the squeeze tubes they come in. I would much prefer a delivery system similar to Urban Decay's Cream shadows. It just makes application so much easier when the applicator is right in the product.

Here are the swatches.

All in all though, these get my seal of approval. I will definitely be picking a couple up :)

Hmm...I've had bad experiences with cream shadows (Benefit creaseless cream). And since then, I've avoided using any type of cream e/s.
Do you think I can use these just like how I use the TFSI? Just smooth a sheer layer on the lid before my normal e/s? Any tips? =)

Caramel, I can understand your trepidation as some cream shadows promise no creasing yet do so anyway.

I definitely think you can use these just like the traditional TFSI. Just smooth a thin layer onto your lid and apply your shadow as always. A little bit will go a long way :)

Wohoo! This means I might just pick up one or two and give it a try. ;)
You're such an enabler. LOL. But I still love you. ;)
