Lip-Lovin'- YSL Rouge Voluptes

Ok, so I know that this lipstick has probably been pimped out more times than an old Cadillac on Pimp My Ride; but trust me; these babies are just that amazing!

These lipsticks are full of creamy dreamy opaque goodness. The scent is classic YSL, being a mix of fruity and floral. Lasting power is phenomenal, and I dare you to find a prettier range of colors anywhere.

All in all, this product gets tons of love from me!

Yves St Laurent- Summer 2009 Swatches and Review

Q: What do you get when you mix lush tropical greenery with the African Jungle?

A: You get Yves St Laurent's Summer 2009 Collection: a collection bursting at the seams with eye colors inspired by birds of paradise, sheer, albeit bright lip colors, and a peacock blue mascara that has me all in a tizzy.

The cream eyeshadows in this collection are heavenly. They are incredibly creamy, and full of rich sparkling pigments that DO NOT BUDGE once they set (takes about 10 seconds)

The quint is TO DIE FOR. It has everything from matte to shimmer, with each color being full of rich intense pigment. Seriously, I NEED this in my life

The mascara is a dark shade of peacock blue that I also NEED. And its waterproof so its perfect to add a pop of color to the eyes in the sweltering heat of summer

The lips are beautiful as well, but unfortunately lip palettes and sheer colors are not my cuppa tea, ya know?

Return of the Lemmings

You all may have noticed that my weekly lemmings posts took a brief hiatus due to my severe avoidance of any and all cosmetic counters.
However, its over. Yeah, I said it... KAPUT!

What can I say, I just can't stay away! Without further ado I bring you the things I think I "need"

Make Up For Ever's Stunning Visual for the Spring/Summer Line has made me want the orange star powder, number 953 (thanks to Willa for pointing out the color to me!)

A trip to the YSL counter with a friend this past week has caused me to take a second look at the lip products of the Spring 2009 collection. On my list are Gloss Pur in Pure Nude and Pure Raspberry, Rouge Pur in Paradise Pink, 5 Colour Harmony for eyes in Indian Pink, and the Automatic Liner in Easy Blue. Yeah, I feel a haul coming on soon, though I am not sure I will get it all just yet. There is still the Summer Collection to consider!

That is all for now. My wallet just burst into flames and my cards bit the dust, but where there is a will there is most certainly also a way. Will let you all know how that goes ;)
