Obsessive Compulsive Lip Tars
Out of the cosmetic-grade muck, a new series of OCC’s wildly popular lip tars have emerged, much to everyone’s delight. Getting a makeover for spring with soft, demure shades meant to be mixed and matched to perfection, these new shades of lip tar can only be described as covetable. In the name of all that is pigmented in a lip product, I had to claim these three bad boys as my very own.

Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Loose Colors and Glitters- A Review with Swatches
Not being one to utilize or indulge in loose pigments too often, I decided that if the OCC loose colors were anything like the lip tars that I have come to adore, then they were definitely worth having. I am not disappointed in the least as these are incredibly pigmented, blend well, and apply true to color. I absolutely love the shades offered, with my favorite being Cherry Bomb (a bright, poppy red). The only downside is that these can be a bit messy, so be careful when using them. There is no sifter in the jar, so the whole thing will spill if tipped over (R.I.P Burning).
Here are all the colors:L- R Top to Bottom
Clover, Atmosphere, Auric, Burning, Cherry Bomb, Clove
Copperwire, Flicker, Iced, Gecko, Glisten, Heroic
Ironic, Layfette, Luster, Platonic, Red light, Tesoro

Operation Organize Loose Pigments & An Announcement
As I had mentioned in a previous post, I decided to take on the immense task of cleaning out my makeup stash, organizing, and adding a new traincase into the mix this past weekend.
And here it is: the fruit of my labor:

How many colors can you spot? I will say that the left hand side is all MUFE star powders and pure pigments, while the right and middle is a mix of Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics loose colors, Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics glitters, and MAC pigment samples. How many loose pigments do you have? What are your favorites?
On a somewhat related note, I have amassed tons of brand new goodies for a giveaway that I will be hosting for my 6 month blog anniversary on August 4th. Be sure you are following, because it is going to be a good one! Included in the giveaway will be Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics, Stila, Smashbox, MAC, Make Up For Ever, and more! Trust me, it will be awesome!

Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Nail Polish
I have blogged on my love for the Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Lip Tars, now allow me to introduce you to the amazing nailpolishes, while you still have the chance to snag free shipping:
These polishes are serious hotness. With a satin finish and intense pigmentation, these polishes dare you to go bold in colors like bright acid green (Wasabi) and traffic stopping yellow (Traffic). For those who are not as adventurous, there are colors like beige (Pallid) and taupe (Uber). I love the versatility, the application of the colors (which apply smooth and full with 2 coats), and the satiny finish these polishes have.
There are 15 shades available, of which I have 12, shown below. I do believe I need to complete my set, though Ginger doesn't appear on the site.
L-R Swamp Thing, Dangerous, Anime, Spanglemaker (the only non-satin, this one is metallic), Traffic, Pallid
L-R Wasabi, Ginger, White Noise, Blackboard, Lucretia, Uber
Here is my fresh manicure, using OCC Polish in Wasabi, a bright shade of chartreuse green. Lets just say this color had everyone in the nail salon oohing and ahhing.

I will try to get swatches of all the colors I have soon, but until then what do you all think? Do you love it as much as I do?
OCC Polishes are available on the OCC website here, for $8 each. Love them!

Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Lip Tars. OTT in an awesome kind of way
I am not going to beat around the bush, These are, in a word, AMAZING! The lip tars go on shiny and smooth, but dry down to a creamy matte finish. They are not drying, and a little bit goes a really long way. The beauty of these babies is that they are meant to be mixed, to create a whole rainbow of colors. You can go from dramatic to demure, and all it takes is a drop of gloss. I cannot even begin to tell you all how much I love these.
Oh, and did I mention this line is 100% vegan? You gotta love that.
Swatches:
L-R, Top to bottom:
Traffic, Uber, NSFW, Katricia, Tarred
Pageant, Melange, Grandma, Rx, Feathered, Safety Orange

And for those of you looking for an even greater OCC fix, stay tuned for my review on their amazing nailpolishes, shadows, and glitters.
