It has been quite some time since we last visited Three Custom Color, but I am pleased to say that they are making an appearance once more here on Krasey Beauty. This time, we are taking a look at the line’s brand new lipsticks. Rich, moisturizing, and pigmented to boot- these newbies are a lipstick win.

New From Urban Decay
Listen up, my fellow UD'ers. Urban Decay's Fall offerings have just went live on the website, and they look like heartbreakers each and every single item.
Yes, it is a bit early to be thinking of fall, and yet, we don't really care here at la casa de Krasey. Any time is a good time for Urban Decay!
Check out the offerings and tell me in the comments, what are you lemming from Urban Decay's fall lineup?

Random Acts of Swatching- Smashbox Limitless Liners
I have already made mention of these sleek Smashbox gems, so let’s get right to the swatches of the shades:
Illamasqua for Summer- The Body Electrics Collection
Let’s see what our amazing friends over the Atlantic had up their sleeves for summer, shall we? The Illamasqua summer range has been out in the UK (and elsewhere) for quite some time, but has just recently launched at Sephora. I have previously introduced you to the lineup, but let’s take another look at some new favorites.
This bronzer/highlighting duo in Glint and Burnish was actually an addition to the line that came out with last year’s Sirens collection. Nevertheless, it is an amazing year-round staple that bronzes, sculpts, and highlights the plans of my visage to perfection. The perfect-for-my-complexion powder shades are soft, smooth, and blend like butter.

The Spa Comes Home- Ahava Radiant Spa Kit
If beauty from the Earth is good, then beauty from the Sea is truly exceptional. Ahava is an Israel-born beauty brand that channels all of the healing properties of the dead sea into an amazing array of bath, body, and skincare products. I was a devotee even before my beauty blogging days, smitten after a family friend brought me back a tube of lotion after his trip to Israel.

K-O Knockout Nail Polish
Rare are the occasions that I come across products that so effectively meld industrial grunge with sleek, feminine beauty as nail polish newcomer KO Knockout does. A nail polish brand that is quickly making its name into the lacquer vernacular, KO boasts twelve shades of flatte, matte polish in your not so typical flat, matte shades.
When it comes to matte nail polishes, there are really only two camps that you can fall into- you either love them, or you loathe them. I happen to fall in the love them category. I love the atypical finish, I love the fast dry time, and I love the statement a nail color with no shine makes. A matte nail to me wears like a form-fitting little leather jacket, sexy with just a hint of danger.

Fiery FOTD
This past Sunday, I received a phone call from my dutiful boyfriend who told me that I had twenty minutes before he would arrive to whisk me away on a brunch date. Naturally, I made a mad dash to my makeup station to put my face on. Ten minutes later, this is what I ended up with:
The Science of Skincare- M.D Skincare’s Alpha Beta Daily Face Peel
When it comes to skincare, I am a huge fan of everything scientific, from advanced formulations, to innovative ingredients, to new techniques; I love to be dazzled with science at its most advanced. This time around, I explore the Alpha Beta Daily Face Peel by M.D Skincare.
A two-step regimen designed to cleanse and exfoliate, this duo is designed to cleanse, exfoliate, protect, tone and brighten the skin with the simple sweep of two solution-soaked pads. Analyze the ingredients, and you will quickly decipher how these seemingly simple swabs work.
Step 1:
Genistein is a derivative of soybeans, and a powerful antioxidant. It serves to inhibit UV ray induced skin cell damage.
Glycolic Acid is a derivative of sugar cane, and is the most active of the Alpha Hydroxy Acids, designed to stimulate collagen production
Lactic Acid is derived from milk, and is an Alpha Hydroxy Acid whose purpose is to act as a mild exfoliant
Malic Acid is an Alpha Hydroxy Acid derived from fruits like apples and pears, and serves as a gentle exfoliant
Salicylic Acid is a Beta Hydroxy Acid derived from willow bark, designed to exfoliate and refine the surface of the skin. It is especially effective as an anti-acne ingredient
The recipe above is a potent mix of gentle ingredients with science to back up their efficacy, and that impresses the nerd and beauty geek in me all at once. Whipping out the pre-soaked pad and rubbing it all over my face and décolleté for the recommended two minutes, I can’t help but enjoy the gentle tingle as I know that the acids are working their magic on my skin. When I take that shmutz-laden pad away, I know that my pores are cleaner, and that my skin already feels more refined.
Step 2:
Phospholipids act as skin enrichers, moisturizing the skin without suffocating it, drawing moisture from the environment to ensure that cells stay smooth and plump.
Vitamins A,C,E are all antioxidants that protect the skin and slow down the aging process.
Sodium Bicarbonate is a fancy name for a familiar compound- baking soda. Used in Step 2, it serves to exfoliate while neutralizing the acids in step 1.
Step 2 is much the same as step 1. I rub the pre-soaked pad over both face and décolleté, foregoing a rinse to allow the solutions to continue working their magic even after the process is done. What I am immediately left with is brighter, smoother skin, and what I have noticed over the time I have been using this product is an increase in tone, brightness, and clarity in my skin. My face feels smoother, and looks more radiant; this is science at its most beautiful.
When it comes to both science and skincare, it is fully possible for the two to marry and make all kinds of wonderful little product babies that do the face and body a world of good. In this case, the melding of potent ingredients and solid science have convinced me that amazing skin is as Easy as an Alpha Beta Daily Face Peel a day.

Beauty Goes High Brow with Smashbox
Beauty goes to brows that wow. Nothing has the power and ability to frame one’s face like an expertly arched brow. Shape in place, definition becomes crucial to polishing off any look. Smashbox has perfected the art of the brow definer, creating and refining cult-favorite Brow Tech.
The Beauty Bar- Liptini Double Shot
I am a sucker for a cute packaging concept, so imagine my elation when this package arrived at KB headquarters. 'Tini beauty is a brand that would make 007 proud.
OK, so maybe he is not the original 007, but Austin is just so groovy, baby.
A line of cocktail inspired cosmetics, every product in the liptini, nailtini, or eyetini family is made to be mixed and matched to pretty perfection. With cheeky cocktail inspired names, and equally fun color options, 'tini beauty sets the bar pretty high (hehe, get it?).

Obsessive Compulsive Lip Tars
Out of the cosmetic-grade muck, a new series of OCC’s wildly popular lip tars have emerged, much to everyone’s delight. Getting a makeover for spring with soft, demure shades meant to be mixed and matched to perfection, these new shades of lip tar can only be described as covetable. In the name of all that is pigmented in a lip product, I had to claim these three bad boys as my very own.

Lancôme Definicils Precious Cells Mascara
When it comes to mascara, Lancôme does your peepers right.
My very first mascara was a sample (my sister’s gift with purchase) of Lancôme’s Definicils. I remember how my thirteen-year-old self would wake up every morning and religiously paint my lashes longer, always amazed at the difference an amazing mascara could make. Daily use of the mascara superstar not only meant I had to constantly pilfer my sister’s samples (what are little sisters for?), but it also solidified Lancôme’s place as a permanent mascara favorite even when I gained the beauty purchasing power.
Many moons later, I have more than likely purchased every single kind of mascara that Lancôme has released, loving them all. Much to my delight, I have a new mascara to introduce (and to fawn over). Definicils Precious Cells is the newcomer to the family.

Kymaro Glamour Eyes
For a false flutter, look no further than to Kymaro for a range of options all in one neat little box. The Glamour Eyes Collection is a sextet of falsies that offer up both the drama and the fun.
Beauty Obsessions- Smashbox and Glowing Skin
Two of my beauty obsessions meet, dance, and promptly fall in love. It’s Smashbox and glowing skin for me, for the win.
Ask anyone who is cosmetically inclined about Smashbox Soft Lights, and they will most likely wax poetic about the joys of the ultra-fine, shimmering highlight powders. Even if they don’t, I most certainly will. These recent Smashbox additions to my beauty arsenal give me the glow of an angel, minus the wings.

Summer Foundation Perfection- Lancôme Teint Idole
Summertime is no time for heavy, matte, cakey cream foundations. We are abandoning the thick and pasty in favor of liquid, lighter than air formulations that leave skin looking flawlessly luminous while still giving that epidermis of ours precious breathing room. Lancôme’s newest Teint Idole does all of that, and more.
